From the MRC Mining Podcast with Lindsey Schultz, MRC CEO in early 2025. The world has changed dramatically in the past year and we sat down to explore a question that’s become impossible to ignore: What happens when mining companies step into the political spotlight?

From permitting delays and geopolitical instability to the nuances of stakeholder engagement, we dug into what actually works. The discussion also highlighted how companies like Agnico Eagle and Yamana Gold managed to turn trust into a genuine business advantage.

It was a conversation that’s only become more relevant since we recorded it.
